Sarah grew up in San Antonio, where she graduated summa cum laude from Winston Churchill High School (go, Chargers!). She played on the varsity tennis team, started a Bible study for fellow students, received the Optimist Award for Religion, was a member of the National Junior Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, received regional and state awards for viola and voice, traveled with mission teams to Mexico, and regularly served in her community (her favorite was tutoring elementary students). Sarah spent the first 10 years of her professional career in executive hotel management at luxury properties from Newport, RI to New Orleans, LA, until she finally returned home to Texas. When she decided to go to law school, she had two children, ages 3 and 5. She still graduated in the top of her class a semester early from St. Mary's University School of Law while working 20 hours a week at the Bexar County District Attorney's Office, writing for the St. Mary's Law Journal (which means she is a legal nerd...but the very best kind!), being nominated by her peers for the Alma Lopez Women in Leadership award, being inducted into Phi Delta Phi (which requires a high and sustained GPA), and staying active in her children's lives, even serving as kindergarten room mom and team mom for both soccer and tee-ball! Since then, Sarah has had two more children, run a successful business, and worked as a prosecutor and as a solo practitioner.
The same work ethic that led her to success in high school carried her through law school, and that same work ethic has led to 18 years in the courtroom where she has tried over 100 felony jury cases, led teams of attorneys in various specialty crime units within District Attorney's Offices across Texas, won statewide recognition out of over 7,000 prosecutors for professional excellence in the courtroom, and awarded her national and statewide speaking engagements where she trains attorneys on trial advocacy, leadership and ethics, demonstrating her status as an expert in her field.
This is the same work ethic Sarah has brought to her campaign, as she has worked tirelessly to connect with every part of Williamson County, all while continuing her full-time job as an Assistant District Attorney right here in Williamson County. You might see her handing out food on a Monday morning with a local nonprofit, or volunteering at events like Hope Night or Night to Shine on a Friday. You'll find her attending community meetings throughout the county to learn what matters to those residents. She is a regular attendee at different events highlighting members of the local Chambers of Commerce, or you might find her participating in a board meeting for a local nonprofit.
If it matters to the people of Williamson County, you'll find Sarah there, earning the trust and confidence of each person.
This is the work ethic Sarah will bring to the bench as Judge of the 512th District Court.
There is no substitute for time in the trenches or the 'muscles' that reps in the courtroom create.
Sarah has the experience you can trust and the judgment you can count on.

The best judges possess the courtroom experience, integrity, and temperament necessary to understand the law and apply it fairly. They are knowledgeable about the law and capable of making real-time rulings while considering their impact on all parties involved in the litigation. Sarah Moore, a candidate in the Williamson County 512th Judge race, has demonstrated these qualities over almost two decades, earning recognition from her peers for her excellence. Williamson County deserves a Judge who has consistently shown excellence, even when the public was not paying attention. Sarah Moore is that candidate. Let's support the Sarah Moore campaign and vote for someone with the experience you can trust and the judgment you can count on.
